On Friday, April 8th, 2016, AER Technologies, Inc. held its latest in- house IPC J-STD-001 training with 12 technicians in attendance. The training consisted of reviewing the standard, followed by both a physical and written exam to demonstrate solder workmanship and skill on multiple printed circuit board components. Concluding the examination process, all scores are sent to IPC for official recertification.
AER Technologies, Inc. has a designated IPC certified trainer who conducts all in house training and recertification practices. Recognized worldwide, the IPC J-STD-001 is the latest standard of industry accepted requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies. IPC training and recertification is required every 2 years.
